Alpha - SafeInject™ Retractable Safety Syringe
         
     
  1. Without first pushing forward the plunger, pull it back to charge the syringe with solution. 2.After injection, press plunger forward until it reaches the stop position to connect plunger to the front needle hub.  
   
   
  3. Needle is fully retracted by pulling back the plunger. The thumb and forefinger of one hand are positioned to remove the plunger. 4. By using a simple pushing action, the plunger is easily detached from the syringe. The syringe can not be re-used and is safe to dispose.

Beta - BeTeC Safety Lock Syringe - ADS
         
     
  1. Pull back the plunger to charge the syringe with solution. 2.Press plunger forward to complete injection until it reaches the stop position. Lock mechanism will be activated and locks plunger in stop position. An audible "Click" will sound.  
         
       
  3. Forcing the plunger backward will cause it to break. Dispose safely in a disposable container.  
   
  (Remark: recapping a syringe after use always poses a certain risk to the HCW, Therefore, the use of retractable syringes or protective sheaths are more preferable.)
